THANKSGIVING DAY 2013

We end  another Happy Thanksgiving Day with family and friends with the traditional hay ride and usually it is very cold!  Then we enjoy dessert and a hot cup of coffee together and look forward to next year.

Dress Up

My kids, along with cousins, spent many hours dressing up in these costumes and wigs and now it's the next generation enjoying a few laughs with the same 'ol stuff!  How time flies, but some things never change...like playing dress up!   It's always fun.

I always enjoy the last rays of sunshine....they give me the liberty to call it a day and enjoy a bit of relaxation and reflection.  I am thankful that God in His wisdom made the sun to set and rise again bringing on a new day.

Cousin Fun

These little cuties are enjoying some "vintage"  props from the past to complete their dress-up outfits.  The binoculars were a gift from Aunt Mar to Larsen back in the bird watching days.  They are at least 25 years old.  Miss L is wearing a dress that we bought for Anna in Hawaii 26 years ago.  Miss Z's scarf came from Australia.....a gift from my cousin, no less than 20 years ago.   I am so glad we kept some of our clutter for the next generation to enjoy...or at least I do!!
