Do you notice the beautiful black cows in the picture? They belong to a good friend and we all call them "The Girls"...a phrase coined by our neighbor. They are each taking a turn at birthing their first baby calf and they are turning into good mamma's. We now see five stout black calves scampering in the green fields across the way. It is a good reminder that spring is on its way. Soon we should see daffodils and tulips dotting the the landscape as well. I am ready for warmer sunny days and I am sure you are too! (And of course you will notice the cute little grandgirlie in the picture too!)

I agree! My tulips are poking up thru the potting soil in my big pots.... big, fat, juicy tulip tops... hope the deer don't come and chomp them off! Milli
